Our Location

	Driving from Waikiki or Honolulu International Airport. Take Freeway H-1 west (you'll travel approximately 20 miles from Waikiki, or about 8-10 miles from airport) • Then take H2 North towards the North Shore • Freeway turns into HWY 99 • Take 99 to Highway 83 (Kamehameha Highway through the pineapple fields) • Take 83 to the North Shore (5.7 miles east past Hale'iwa Town) • You will pass Waimea Bay on the left. • After the stop light, you will see a fire station on your left and a Foodland on your right • Take the first left (there are four red and white striped reflective markers just before the turn) • Immediately turn right up the frontage road (Ke Iki Road unmarked) •; Approximately ½ block up the road you will see a post with 5 mailboxes on it (59-601) • Turn down into driveway and proceed to the gating system. The North Shore of Oahu is home to some of the biggest waves in the world during the winter months! An unfortunate side effect is that the beach sand comes and goes with the seasons.

Last winter's swells took away more than normal and this past summer did not it bring it back yet.

You can see by these aerial shots that the sand currently starts just a short 75 feet to the north of the Tropical Waters property and goes on for several miles.

The now bare lava finger that sticks out into the ocean fronting the homes provides the most exciting tide pools and shell collecting!

Our Property Map

This map shows the locations of our homes relative to Kamehameha Highway. This rather busy highway runs along the entire North Shore, our homes are located two (2) or three (3) homes off this highway therefore highway noise is greatly reduced.
